It’s been one week since Oakleigh joined our family! She has been a little fighter. She is off of all oxygen and IV and has started taking milk by bottle and is doing really well with that. They say she is taking about 36% of her feeds by mouth. The goal is that she would be taking 50% by mouth and then they will start weaning her out of the isolette! The nurses all say she is feisty and that’s what they like to see in the NICU. She is tiny but mighty! She is gaining some weight back and is at 2lbs 11oz after losing 4oz. We are still awaiting test results to know what would have caused her to be so small and have some of the anomalies she has. We are so thankful for how well she is doing and God’s healing on her.
