Week Three

It’s been a bit since we have updated everyone.  There hasn’t been much change so we didn’t know what to post.  Oakleigh is still growing and gaining weight which is great! She is now 3lbs 3.5oz! Describing just how tiny she is, is pretty difficult! Her head is about the size of a women’s softball.  The pictures might give you a glimpse but it is still hard to capture!  Our main goals right now are weight gain and learning to take her feeds by mouth.  That has been a struggle and she seems to have regressed a lot.  We are trying to figure out what works best for her and would appreciate prayers for her in that area!  Today is her due date but we’ve already gotten to love her for 3 weeks! We are continually grateful for her little life and for the miracle she is.  Family life is much different for us right now and balancing Abilene and Oakleigh has been challenging, but God is faithful and has carried us!
